In October 2024, I started working with Hoozels at the Lakes, a restaurant and bar in Central Wisconsin. No big launch. No ad budget. Just a commitment to show up consistently on Facebook and actually work the platform.

One year later, big shifts started happening.

A reel posted on September 3rd, 2025 hit 60,000 organic views in two weeks. At the time, that was their record. We celebrated, kept going, and didn't stop.

Then on March 31st, 2026, a new reel blew past that number entirely.

142,000 views. Organic. No boost. No ad spend. Just consistent, intentional content and a team that shows up.

That record didn't just get broken. It got shattered. And honestly? It's been pretty gouda to watch. šŸ§€

So what actually changed between 60k and 142k? Honestly? Not much — and that's exactly the point.

For over a year, here's what consistent looked like for Hoozels at The Lakes

šŸ“…šŸ“ˆ Showing up with strategic content every week

šŸ’¬āš” Responding to every comment and message

šŸ¤šŸ“ Engaging with other local pages and community content

ā±ļøšŸ“± Spending roughly one hour per month actively working the platform

That's it.

No paid campaigns. No viral tricks. No massive production budget. Just a local Wisconsin business that committed to showing up, staying consistent, and a platform that rewarded them for it.

Here's what I want you to take away from this:

Consistency and engagement will always outperform a one-time post or a boosted post you threw $50 at and forgot about. The businesses winning on social media right now aren't the ones with the biggest budgets. They're the ones willing to show up strategically, interact genuinely, and trust the process long enough to see it work.

Your audience is on Facebook right now. They're scrolling. They're watching. They're looking for businesses they can connect with and trust.

The question is - are you showing up for them?

If you've been sitting on the fence about getting consistent with your social media, consider this your sign.

The best time to start was six months ago. The second best time is right now.
